Brandon Hemmelgarn is a lifelong Episcopalian, who has been attending St. John’s for about 10 years. Fun fact: he originally found St. John’s through a close friend from college, Alex, who is Rev. Sarah's son. Brandon grew up attending St. Paul’s in Cleveland Heights, OH, where he an acolyte, which he has also had the privilege of doing periodically over the years at St. John’s. He studied Economics at Princeton University and has been in Arlington, VA, since 2012, currently working for Shaker Investments as an investment advisor. Brandon lives with his wife, Shelby, and sons Thomas (4) and Ted (1). You’ll most often see him at the 9am service with Thomas. His son, Ted, was recently baptized at St. John’s in November.
