Erica grew up in North Texas which planted in her the love of a big Texas sky, bluebonnets and Blue Bell ice cream. She lived for 22 years in the Detroit area before moving to Alexandria, VA to attend Virginia Theological Seminary and is currently a Candidate for Holy Orders. This fall she will enter my last year at VTS. On campus Erica ministers in the chapel as part of the sacristan team, creating a sense of community as an apartment proctor, and serves on the Student Aid Society which financially supports seminarians in crisis. One of her most cherished roles is being Mom to Henry who is 10 1/2 and wife to Tom - her greatest supporter and often her theological conversation partner.
