Rev. Dr. Laura Natta, Associate Rector

Rev. Dr. Laura Natta graduated with her M.Div from Virginia Theological Seminary with a certificate in New Mission Practices and where she was awarded the Anglican Communion Prize for her work promoting theological understanding across cultural and theological differences. Prior to her ordination, Laura was a licensed clinical neuropsychologist, specializing in diagnosis and treatment planning for people with co-occurring disorders and complex neurobehavioral cases. Having served in both hospital and parochial settings, Laura is excited to serv as Associate Rector at St. John’s, while continuing her work on the General Conventions Task Force for the study of Congregational Vitality Indicators. Laura's wife Kathryn is a Drama Therapist. They live in Annandale with their sheepdog, Sydney. Laura is certified in Prepare/Enrich, a pre-marital/pastoral counseling assessment process that helps to equip couples and families with evidence based skills and insights to foster healthy relationships.
