Tammy Cox has volunteered and been approved to join the vestry in our open slot. Tammy is relatively new to St. John’s but has become quite active very quickly. Tammy’s husband, Sam, is former military and they have moved around quite a lot while raising two children, Claire and Patrick. In her journey, Tammy has spent time as a graphic artist, a paralegal, and an English teacher: all skills that will be put to use with vestry duties, I’m sure. In addition to her time with various activities at St. John's, she volunteers with several community non-profits and will soon begin work on an advanced training for tutoring students with dyslexia.
