On Sunday, February 9th, friendly neighbors and kids of all ages found Sesame Street on the corner of O and Potomac Streets in Washington, DC! For 50 years, Sesame Street has been teaching kids – through story, music, and play and by the personalities and representations of their characters – that everyone is welcome, everyone matters, and even the air is sweet! We call that the Kingdom of God, and we caught a joyful glimpse of it on February 9th! Check out a few of the pictures, below, and click here for our special Sesame Street podcast episode recorded with our seminarian, Meg Goldstein!
